A Guided Tour of the Unacceptable - arrange a local screening or check out when and where you can see it
A Guided Tour of the Unacceptable (TOTU) Where when you can see it, or how to arrange a screening
A Guided Tour of the Unacceptable is a geographical and historical tour of the UK’s nuclearweapons on the Clyde and resistance to them, with archive footage from the sixties sit-downs, to canoes buzzing Trident, mass blockades, and 21st Century XR protesters. Behind the camera, and editor of archive footage from SCND and Trident Ploughshares, is Ruth Barrie (Waltzer Films), with a stunning musical score from Scottish musicians including Rachel Sermanni, Karine Polwart, Ross Ainsle, Ryan Young and Ewan Mackenzie. First conceived when the Covid pandemic precluded traditional tours for visitors. TOTU was created to celebrate the entry into force of the Treaty On The Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and dedicated to the Peace Camp in its 40th year of witness and action.
