SHIANT ISLANDS CATHEDRAL EXHIBITION

In her art Phillit Purrmann explores notions of ‚wild nature‘ and how humans relate to wildness in times
of climate and ecological crises. Trying to make sense of rather than despairing over present and future
uncertainties she seeks to challenge traditional, romantic and colonial ideas of wildness, and whether such
ideas can still serve the world in contemporary times of environmental disruption.

STARVING FOR PEACE

Thursday Jan 8th, 5.30pm

Sarah Boyack MSP will host an evening to explore the escalation of atrocity crimes, in particular starvation and conflict-related sexual violence. A screening of archive and contemporary film clips and reportage from the front lines are included.

Local artist Phoebe Ryrko found a way to respond to to the horrific situation Gaza through painting portraits of some people in her community. The aim is to support Palestine people through creativity.
